Must-see: A 90-second pregnancy story | BabyCenter

When you?re anxiously awaiting your baby?s arrival, pregnancy can feel like a lifetime. One creative couple condensed the experience into just 90 seconds, and in doing so captured the joy, anticipation and miracle of those unforgettable 9 months.

The expectant parents documented the pregnancy in a series of photographs taken at their home, a visual record of the mom-to-be?s growing belly and all that was happening in their lives as their baby?s due date drew near. They compiled the pics into a time-lapse video titled, simply, ?Introducing.? It?s not pristine and perfect -- there?s the family cat wandering in and out, shoes piled by the doorway, groceries on the table, hair pulled back into messy ponytails -- but that?s part of what makes it so lovely.

The expectant mom stands in profile for much of the video, her tattoos visible beneath her casual sweats and tank. Her partner appears here and there with a high five, a grin, lifting her across the threshold of a new home. And then toward the end, he kisses her very swollen belly just before their (very adorable!) daughter Amelie Amaya arrives.

The video has quickly gone viral, though it seems not everyone is a fan: Some commenters have been put off by the body art while one viewer dubs it just plain ?weird.?

I just love it. It?s so sweet and kind of quirky, probably reflective of this anonymous couple and their relationship. Watching their journey to parenthood, I couldn?t help but be amazed -- again -- by the miracle of it all.

Note: A couple of our readers have noted that this mom is a member of their BabyCenter birth board -- very cool! Big congratulations to her on the arrival of baby Amelie!

Here?s the video? what do you think?
